One Minute Interview with Dan Santat
This past February, I had the opportunity to hear Dan Santat give an incredible keynote speech as SCBWI that not only inspired me in a million different ways, but had me laughing harder than I’d laughed in months. May we all be blessed with his sense of humor, and may we all have the work ethic to build up to his ability to tell a wonderful story. If you haven’t had the privilege of reading one of his books, go out today and start with Beekle, and then move onto the Cookie Fiasco, or his favorite, listed below. With illustrations that are somehow both hilarious and endearing at the same time, and relatable storylines, you won’t be disappointed. In person, he is as approachable and charming as you’d hope him to be. Enjoy this one minute interview that I conducted with him during SCBWI!
